Global Cybersecurity Forum And World Economic Forum Collaborate To Establish Centre For Cyber Economics In Riyadh
The Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) have agreed to create the Centre for Cyber Economics (CCE) in Riyadh. This announcement was made during the WEF Annual Meeting 2025 in Davos, Switzerland. The CCE aims to become a global hub focusing on the economic aspects of cybersecurity, enhancing understanding and decision-making worldwide.
Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority, Eng. Majed bin Mohammed Al-Mazyed, highlighted Saudi Arabia's leading role in cybersecurity. He stated that this collaboration between GCF and WEF is part of ongoing efforts to maintain the Kingdom's prominent position in this field. The Saudi model has been recognised for its innovative approach at various levels.

The Centre will conduct research and studies to provide tools for policy formulation and strategy development. These efforts aim to protect the global economy while improving cybersecurity worldwide.
