Global Council Advocates For Palestine's Full Membership In United Nations

The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace recently lauded the supportive stance of the UAE, Uganda, and Mauritania towards Palestine's full membership in the United Nations. This commendation comes in light of the UAE's role as Chair of the Arab Group for May, alongside Uganda's position as Chair of the Non-Aligned Movement, and Mauritania's leadership of the Islamic Group at the UN. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, expressed his appreciation for the United Nations General Assembly's commitment to democratic international relations and its efforts to implement the global community's will.

Al Jarwan emphasized that these efforts are crucial for upholding rights and justice for the Palestinian people, advocating for their equality and statehood recognition akin to other UN member states. The Council underscored the urgent need to cease the ongoing conflict in Gaza, aligning with resolutions from the UN General Assembly, Security Council, and Human Rights Council.
