Third Annual Global AI Summit Kicks Off In Riyadh Under Royal Patronage
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the third annual Global AI Summit will commence on Tuesday. The event is scheduled from September 10 to 12 at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh. Organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), it will feature over 450 international speakers and attract numerous local, regional, and international figures.
The summit will see participation from economic policymakers and elite AI specialists from 100 countries. This gathering underscores Saudi Arabia's leadership in organizing major global events under King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince. It also highlights the Kingdom as a hub for innovation and creativity in AI.

Key themes include innovation in AI, shaping a better future for AI locally and globally, integrating human intelligence with AI, generative AI, AI ethics, processors, infrastructure, and smart city growth. These discussions aim to enhance international cooperation in data and AI through developmental topics.
The summit will launch over 25 local and global initiatives and sign more than 70 agreements. It will also feature events that foster knowledge exchange with countries worldwide in the field of AI. The number of registered participants has already exceeded 32,000.
This event represents a successful step after five years of hard work by SDAIA to strengthen Saudi Arabia's role as an influential voice on global issues like data and AI technologies. These technologies have become significant factors in many aspects of life.
