GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Showcases Major Advancements In AI And Technology Enterprises Worldwide

GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the largest technology and AI exhibition worldwide, will showcase significant advancements in biotechnology, physical AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and data centres. Scheduled from 13th to 17th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event will gather over 6,800 tech companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries. This gathering aims to drive the next phase of AI infrastructure expansion.

The global AI market is expected to reach US$4.8 trillion by 2033, as reported by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). This projection highlights the increasing importance of deploying AI across critical sectors. The event will feature global tech leaders like Alibaba Cloud, AMD, AWS, Dell, e&, G42, Google, HPE, Huawei, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Siemens, and Snowflake. New participants such as Cerebras and Datadog will also introduce their latest innovations.

Running alongside GITEX is Expand North Star from 12th-15th October at Dubai Harbour. Hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy for its 10th edition, it connects 2,000 promising startups with over 1,200 investors managing US$1.1 trillion in assets. Trixie LohMirmand of DWTC stated that GITEX GLOBAL 2025 energises transformative technologies while fostering innovation-led progress across industries.

This year marks a record for international participation with Brazil joining as a Country Partner with its largest-ever tech delegation. Serbia's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Tech Destination Pakistan are key partners too. New pavilions from Canada and Türkiye debut alongside expanded representation from Europe and Central Asia.

Biotech spending is set to reach US$1.7 trillion in 2025 due to breakthroughs in gene editing and mRNA vaccines. At GITEX GLOBAL, Trevor Martin of Mammoth Biosciences will discuss how CRISPR technology uses AI to potentially cure genetic diseases. Matt Angle from Paradromics will explore decoding thought with AI through neurotech advancements.

Global data centre investments are predicted to exceed US$500 billion in 2025 according to BofA Research. O’Leary Ventures plans to build the world’s largest AI data centre industrial park in Canada. Cerebras presents the world’s largest AI supercomputer built with G42 at Expand North Star featuring over 40 unicorns reinforcing UAE’s hub status for global scale-ups. Fluidstack unveils a decarbonised AI supercomputer while Xpanceo introduces smart contact lenses advancing AR healthcare & consumer hardware simultaneously.

Tatiana Riera COO ApexBrasil expressed excitement about showcasing Brazilian innovation at GITEX GLOBAL with over 50 startups present: "It's a great opportunity to show how Brazil is driving innovation."
