GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Showcases UAE’s Leadership In Digital Innovation And Technology Development

Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, the UAE Government's Head of Cybersecurity, highlighted the significance of GITEX GLOBAL 2025 in showcasing the UAE's leadership in digital and tech sectors. He emphasised the country's forward-thinking approach to AI and its dedication to fostering innovation. Dr. Al Kuwaiti noted that GITEX serves as a crucial platform for technological advancements and collaboration among regional decision-makers adapting to changing business landscapes.

The UAE Cybersecurity Council (CSC) concluded its participation in GITEX GLOBAL 2025 after five days filled with dynamic activities and strategic engagements. The event featured numerous showcases, panel discussions, and forums that underscored the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Technical workshops and lectures focused on AI applications in various fields like healthcare, smart cities, future mobility, clean technologies, energy transition, sustainability, and emerging digital trends.

UAE Leads in Digital Innovation at GITEX 2025

During this year's event, the Cybersecurity Council organised a variety of events and presentations highlighting its initiatives in cybersecurity and AI. The Council signed several Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with local and international partners. These agreements aimed at enhancing cyber resilience involved collaborations with government entities, private sector players in security fields, and companies like Presight, EDGE, Tahaluf, Fazaa, Innixus, as well as governments of India and Egypt.

The Council's pavilion attracted high-level visits from dignitaries such as sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, public-private sector delegations, and representatives from leading global companies. These visits underscored the Council’s growing role as a hub for dialogue on digital transformation. Numerous meetings between public and private sector representatives reflected the Council’s vision to foster impactful partnerships supporting the UAE's digital economy.

GITEX GLOBAL 2025 reaffirmed its status as a premier technology platform at Dubai World Trade Centre. It has been a gateway for creators and investors for over four decades. This year saw an impressive turnout with over 6,800 exhibitors, around 2,000 startups, 1,200 delegations from 180 countries participating. The event aligned with global trends towards AI, quantum computing, big data, and digital governance.

The exhibition hosted extensive discussions on topics like 5G connectivity, EdTech innovations, digital cities development, energy transformation strategies alongside global conversations about future digital transformations. A Global Digital Economy Leaders' Summit was also held to unveil new technological products further solidifying GITEX's position as one of the largest gatherings focused on future technologies.

Showcasing Innovation in Cybersecurity

The Cybersecurity Council showcased flagship initiatives including platforms for cybersecurity data exchange such as Compliance & Governance Platform along with Crystal Ball forecasting platform during GITEX 2025 participation. They organised popular Capture-the-Flag competition featuring innovation-driven activities under CyberE71 initiative while exploring private sector partnerships.

The Council presented advanced technologies aimed at countering cybersecurity threats hosting experts discussing ways enhancing international cooperation cyberspace through workshops seminars addressing key topics like data protection digital awareness showcasing global partnerships bolstering cyber resilience featuring innovations under North Star platform dedicated startups.

Throughout GITEX 2025 participation CSC hosted collaborative sessions major international partners Meta KPMG Accenture discussing critical themes future digital transformation role AI public-private collaboration boosting competitiveness strengthening national cyber resilience securing UAE’s digital space enabling AI startups innovate responsibly securely.

This year's edition marked an exceptional gathering aligned with global shifts towards AI quantum computing big data digital governance reaffirming GITEX status leading technology innovation platform serving creators investors pioneering enterprises shaping future technology landscape worldwide.
