GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Concludes With Record International Participation And AI Innovations

GITEX GLOBAL 2025 wrapped up after five days of intense deal-making and significant unveilings in AI, data infrastructure, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, digital health, and biotech. The event attracted over 6,800 exhibitors, 2,000 startups from 180 countries, and 1,200 investors at Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Harbour. This gathering highlighted the UAE's leadership in AI innovation.

Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, and Peng Xiao from G42 engaged in a notable virtual discussion on AI-Native Societies. They explored how international partnerships are shaping the global AI economy's foundations. This session was one of the most anticipated during the event.

GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Wraps Up with Success

Amr Kamel from Microsoft UAE praised the UAE's role in digital transformation. He stated, "The UAE is at the forefront of digital transformation, and GITEX continues to be a powerful platform driving this journey forward. The country’s visionary leadership has created an environment where innovation thrives." His comments underscored GITEX's influence in advancing AI leadership.

The event featured discussions among ministers and senior officials from various regions on AI-related trust, regulation, and sovereignty issues. These dialogues marked a shift as nations now co-create with innovators rather than just catching up with technological advancements.

This year's edition showcased future-critical sectors like GITEX Quantum Expo and GITEX Digi Health & Biotech. Founders introduced next-gen innovations such as smart contact lenses for glucose estimation and brain-computer implants decoding neural signals. These innovations were unveiled both on stage and on the show floor.

Zaid Ghattas from AMD expressed gratitude for the event's success: "It has been a GITEX to remember for AMD... We look forward to GITEX 2026." His remarks highlighted AMD's engagement with their ecosystem during the event.

Empowering AI-Driven Futures

Miguel Vega from Oracle emphasised their focus on 'Enterprise-Ready AI' at GITEX GLOBAL 2025. He noted Oracle’s commitment to empowering the UAE’s AI-driven future through cloud capabilities that accelerate adoption for national entities.

Tareq Masoud from Snowflake added that the event was an extraordinary opportunity to showcase how their AI Data Cloud transforms data into measurable business value. He highlighted how organisations are moving beyond experimentation into achieving impactful business outcomes.

Record MoUs and Future Prospects

A record number of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed during GITEX GLOBAL 2025. Notable collaborations included Presight with Dubai Taxi Company for smart urban transportation solutions and AWS with e& for training initiatives under ‘AI Nation – Afaaq’ programme.

Startup Showcase and Future Events

The startup showcase at Dubai Harbour saw founders from over 100 countries connecting with investors managing $1.1 trillion in assets. The Supernova Challenge awarded Korea’s AIM Intelligence as top winner among others from Chile and Ecuador.

Looking ahead to 2026, GITEX will launch its first TechCation event at Dubai Exhibition Centre from December 7-11. This new chapter will offer immersive experiences beyond exhibition halls during Dubai’s vibrant cultural season.

The upcoming TechCation aims to extend networking opportunities while showcasing frontier-pushing innovations across various industries like quantum technologies and biosciences. It promises continued collaboration across future-critical sectors globally.
