Ghitha Holding And ADNH Catering Sign MoU To Enhance Local Sourcing And Supply Chain Collaboration
Ghitha Holding, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) Catering. This agreement was signed at the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) event by Falal Ameen, Group CEO of Ghitha Holding, and Laura Abizova, Procurement & Supply Chain Director (ME) of ADNH Catering.
The MoU aims to explore collaboration opportunities that support the UAE's national food security goals. It focuses on enhancing local sourcing and optimising supply chain integration. Both parties share a vision to scale production capabilities and expand the use of high-quality, Made-in-UAE food products across various sectors like hospitality, healthcare, education, and government.

This partnership aligns with the UAE’s Food Security Strategy 2051 and the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology. It also supports MIITE 2025 objectives by reinforcing both organisations' roles in strengthening national resilience through local value creation. The collaboration is set to enhance sustainability and strengthen national capabilities across the value chain.
Falal Ameen expressed that this MoU signifies a joint commitment to improving their growing supply chain and building a more self-reliant food ecosystem in the UAE. He stated, "This MoU reflects a joint commitment to enhancing our growing supply chain and building a more self-reliant, agile food ecosystem in the UAE. At Ghitha, we believe that value-based partnerships are key to achieving lasting impact. By working closely with ADNH Catering, we aim to expand local sourcing, and deliver reliable, high-quality food solutions that support the nation’s growth."
Laura Abizova highlighted how partnering with Ghitha Holding allows ADNH Catering to integrate local production into their operations while maintaining high standards for clients. She added, "Partnering with Ghitha Holding enables us to explore new ways of embedding local production into our catering operations, while continuing to meet the high standards our clients expect. This collaboration supports our broader goal of contributing to food security, enhancing sustainability, and strengthening national capabilities across the value chain."
The MoU sets an early-stage framework for collaboration in several areas such as evaluating local sourcing potential and aligning supply chain planning. It also includes enhancing procurement agility and exploring opportunities for product innovation and infrastructure investment.
As both organisations consider future steps, this MoU highlights their shared dedication to advancing national priorities by leveraging complementary strengths. Their goal is to deliver long-term value within the UAE’s food and hospitality ecosystem.
