G&G Composite Chooses Ras Al Khaimah As Its New Regional Base For Advanced Composites

G&G Composite, an Italian company known for its advanced composite and carbon fibre components, is setting up a regional base in Ras Al Khaimah. The family-run business has secured a 10,000 ft² facility in the Al Hamra Industrial Zone within the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ). This move aims to cater to markets across the UAE and beyond.

The lease agreement was formalised at the Compass Coworking Centre. Present at the event were G&G Composite's President, CEO, and Co-founder Stefano Asuni, alongside RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad. The new facility is expected to be fully operational by September. It will manufacture high-performance composite parts, drawing on G&G Composite’s extensive experience in sectors like automotive, motorsports, maritime, defence, aerospace, and luxury interiors.

Stefano Asuni highlighted that Ras Al Khaimah was chosen after considering several emirates for expansion. He noted its strategic advantages such as proximity to key industrial hubs and a rapidly growing automotive sector. Asuni stated, "We explored several emirates for our regional expansion, but Ras Al Khaimah clearly stood out. It offered a unique mix of strategic advantages that matched our ambitions, from its proximity to key industrial hubs to the momentum of its rapidly growing automotive sector."

Asuni also praised the supportive environment provided by RAKEZ. He mentioned that their team has been proactive and helpful from the start. "The RAKEZ team has been incredibly hands-on and responsive, making our transition smooth from day one," he added. The stable environment of Ras Al Khaimah aligns with G&G Composite’s long-term vision.

Ramy Jallad expressed that G&G Composite joining their industrial ecosystem marks a significant milestone for Ras Al Khaimah. He said it highlights the emirate’s rising status as a regional hub for high-tech industries. Jallad remarked, "The addition of G&G Composite to our industrial ecosystem in Ras Al Khaimah represents a strategic milestone that underscores the emirate’s growing stature as a regional hub for high-tech industries."

The presence of G&G Composite is seen as a testament to investor confidence in Ras Al Khaimah's business environment. Jallad emphasised that this confidence is bolstered by world-class infrastructure and a supportive regulatory framework designed to encourage growth.

Jallad also noted that G&G Composite’s expertise in manufacturing advanced materials enhances their industrial landscape. Their work spans hypercar applications to defence and aerospace industries.
