General Authority Enhances Visitor Experience With Free Luggage Storage At Grand Mosque
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has announced the continuation of its complimentary luggage storage service for visitors at the Grand Mosque. This initiative aims to enhance service quality and improve worshippers' experiences by providing a safe, organised environment that allows them to perform rituals without any hindrance.
The service is available 24/7 through several designated centres within the mosque's premises. These centres are managed according to high standards of organisation and safety to protect visitors' belongings. Three main locations have been set up for easy drop-off and collection: the western courtyard behind Restroom No. 6, Ajyad Street next to Restroom No. 2, and the eastern courtyard near the Makkah Library.

Additional points are located at King Abdulaziz Gate (No. 1) and King Fahd Gate (No. 79). These locations support smooth flow and convenient access from all directions. The authority ensures that this service remains completely free of charge, operating under clear procedures for organising and preserving luggage.
Trained staff are on hand to manage various types of luggage and offer necessary assistance to visitors. This initiative is part of a broader range of high-quality services introduced by the authority to enhance the pilgrimage experience. It facilitates movement within the Grand Mosque, creating a comfortable, obstacle-free environment that ensures high levels of safety and peace of mind.
The authority emphasises that these efforts are designed to safeguard visitors' belongings while ensuring their satisfaction during their visit. The luggage storage service is an integral part of improving overall visitor experience at the Grand Mosque.
