General Authority Enhances Worshipper Experience With Comprehensive Services During Friday Prayer At Grand Mosque
The Grand Mosque experienced a significant influx of worshippers and Umrah performers, facilitated by an extensive service system. The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, along with crowd management authorities, provided guidance and organisational support. This ensured a smooth experience for all visitors.
Transportation services were available in key areas like Al-Masaa and the Mataf. Golf carts were provided to assist older people and those with disabilities. Additionally, Zamzam water distribution, cleaning, and sterilisation services were implemented to ensure comfort and peace of mind for worshippers.

The authority has dedicated all available human and mechanical resources at the Grand Mosque to serve worshippers effectively. Over 5,000 regular and electric carts have been made available for Umrah performers and those attending Friday prayers. These carts are linked through the Tanaqol Application and operate under systematic plans.
Supervisors are stationed at the Grand Mosque entrances to welcome worshippers. They direct them to their designated areas, manage entry and exit flow, and guide them to prayer areas within the mosque and its outer courtyards. This ensures a well-organised movement of people throughout the premises.
The Visitors of the Two Holy Mosques Care Team plays a crucial role in enhancing visitor experiences. In 2024, they addressed over 1,038 inquiries and observations from worshippers. Many inquiries were transformed into practical solutions, providing immediate support and improving overall experiences for visitors.
Intensified sterilisation processes are part of the systematic plans for cart operations. Supervision of cart drivers is also included to maintain high standards of service. This comprehensive approach ensures that all visitors receive efficient assistance during their time at the mosque.
The dedication to providing seamless services reflects a commitment to ensuring that every visitor can perform their religious duties with ease. The combination of human resources, technology, and strategic planning contributes significantly to this goal.
