General Authority For The Care Of Two Holy Mosques Enhances Services For Pilgrims Ahead Of Hajj Season
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is dedicated to serving pilgrims, Umrah performers, and worshippers. This commitment is evident in their continuous efforts to provide exceptional service and comfort at both mosques. During the period from 19th to 29th Dhul-Qi’dah 1446 AH, they intensified operations in preparation for the Hajj season.
To enhance comfort within the Two Holy Mosques, a significant amount of resources was utilised. Specifically, 5,589 litres of perfumes were used, alongside 7,829 grams of incense. These measures aimed to create a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. The Zamzam water service also played a crucial role during this period.

Over 6,979 cubic metres of Zamzam water were consumed by pilgrims and worshippers. Additionally, 202,200 bottles of Zamzam water were distributed. The number of cups used for drinking exceeded 28,217,000. These figures highlight the authority's dedication to ensuring visitors have access to essential services.
The provision of iftar meals was another key aspect of their service. A total of 338,092 meals were provided to those fasting. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia's longstanding tradition of generosity towards pilgrims. Such efforts underscore the authority's commitment to supporting religious practices.
Maintaining cleanliness was a priority during this period. Approximately 787 tons of waste were removed as part of a round-the-clock cleaning plan. This ensured a pure environment conducive to performing rituals comfortably. The authority's operational strategy focused on creating an optimal setting for worship.
In addition to these services, the authority sought to bring joy to visitors by distributing gifts. A total of 506,287 items were given out, including copies of the Holy Quran, awareness brochures, and prayer rugs. These gestures aimed to enhance the spiritual experience for all attendees.
