GenAI Hackathon Opens Registration To Develop Saudi National Talent In AI And Cloud

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has opened registration for the Generative Artificial Intelligence Hackathon (GenAI Hackathon), organised with Manara and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, as part of the Saudi Tech Forum, to advance national capabilities in artificial intelligence and cloud computing across the Kingdom.

The Saudi Tech Forum linked to the GenAI Hackathon will also host a job fair and recruitment zone, where participants may hold direct interviews, meet potential employers, and build professional relationships that support career development in the technology sector within Saudi Arabia.

GenAI Hackathon Opens Registration

The GenAI Hackathon sits within broader national programmes designed to develop innovative solutions based on generative artificial intelligence, focusing on real economic and social opportunities in Saudi Arabia, while supporting the growth of an advanced digital innovation ecosystem in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals.

Organisers state that the hackathon includes technical and non-technical tracks, allowing a wide range of participants to contribute, apply skills in practical challenges, improve competencies, and align project outcomes with current and emerging labour-market requirements in the Saudi digital economy.

Alongside the competition, the Saudi Tech Forum will connect employers with AWS-trained talent across the Kingdom, helping national specialists prepare for future roles in technology fields and reinforcing efforts to increase the competitiveness of Saudi human capital in global digital markets.

A dedicated platform at the forum will gather speakers and experts from AWS and Manara with leading Saudi technology figures, who will discuss recent developments in generative artificial intelligence and share experiences that show how digital skills can turn into long-term professional and economic opportunities.
