Saudi Arabia To Celebrate Eid Al-Fitr With Spectacular Fireworks Nationwide

The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) of Saudi Arabia has unveiled its plans to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr in 2024 with a series of spectacular fireworks displays across the kingdom. This initiative is set to brighten the skies of various cities, bringing joy and festivity to the occasion of Eid. Scheduled for the first day of Eid at 9:00 PM, these displays are part of a broader effort to ensure that the celebrations reach every corner of the nation.

In an effort to make the festivities accessible to everyone, GEA has identified specific areas in multiple cities where the public can gather to watch the fireworks. In Riyadh, spectators can head to the Square area in Boulevard City for an unobstructed view. The Corniche in Al-Khobar will feature a display near the water tower, while Jeddah's Promenade will host fireworks for two consecutive days, offering residents and visitors alike ample opportunity to partake in the celebrations.

Eid Fireworks Light Up Saudi Skies

Other cities have not been left out of the plan. In Hail, the fireworks will light up the sky behind Al Salam Park. Madinah's display will be opposite Al-Aliyah Mall, and Tabuk's residents can enjoy the show in Wadi Dhabaan. The northern border will see fireworks behind the Arar Tower, adding a sparkle to the night sky.

Buraidah's King Abdullah National Park, Al-Baha City's Prince Hossam Park, Jazan's northern Corniche promenade, and Najran next to Prince Hathloul bin Abdulaziz Sports City are also set as prime locations for these celebrations. Additionally, Abha's festivities will take place in the Abha Sky region, and Al-Jawf's residents are invited to gather behind the King Salman Cultural Center for their share of the spectacle.

This widespread arrangement underscores GEA's commitment to spreading happiness and unity across Saudi Arabia during one of its most cherished holidays. By organizing these fireworks in various parts of each city, GEA ensures that no matter where one resides within the kingdom, the joyous spirit of Eid Al-Fitr is within reach.

The decision to extend Jeddah's fireworks display over two days further reflects an understanding of the community's desire to celebrate together, providing more opportunities for families and friends to gather and create lasting memories.

As Saudi Arabia prepares to welcome Eid Al-Fitr in 2024 with open arms and bright skies, these planned fireworks displays stand as a testament to the nation's spirit of celebration and community. The GEA invites all residents and visitors to join in these festivities and share in the joy that Eid brings to hearts across the kingdom.
