GDRFA Dubai Achieves Global Recognition For Excellence In AI Governance Strategy

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai), through its Digital Services Sector, has been honoured with the Best Artificial Intelligence Governance Strategy of 2025 award by the AI Awards Series organisation. This accolade recognises GDRFA Dubai's exceptional work in crafting and executing innovative AI governance strategies.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, stated that this award highlights the Directorate’s dedication to embracing cutting-edge global practices in AI governance. He emphasised that their approach is not just technical but a national strategy focused on responsibility and transparency in delivering smart solutions.

He further explained that their institutional journey prioritises people in digital transformation, using artificial intelligence to improve life quality and services.
