GDRFA Dubai And DIFC Authority Sign Partnership Agreement To Enhance Collaboration And Services
The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) has entered into a partnership with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Authority. This collaboration aims to boost institutional cooperation and unify efforts on shared projects. The agreement was signed by Major General Khalaf Ahmed Al Ghaith for GDRFA Dubai and Arif Amiri for DIFC Authority.
Essa Kazim, Governor of the DIFC Authority, highlighted the significance of this agreement, stating it enhances government alignment and supports Dubai’s business environment. He remarked, "This partnership with GDRFA Dubai reflects DIFC’s commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration and advancing the emirate’s business landscape."

Major General Obaid Mehayer Bin Suroor, Deputy Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, noted that this agreement marks a new milestone in integrating government efforts. He stated that it reflects GDRFA Dubai’s dedication to forming strategic partnerships that improve government services and enhance customer experiences.
The agreement aligns with Dubai's vision of creating an integrated government ecosystem through effective partnerships. It supports expertise exchange and service development to enhance quality of life and meet the emirate's ambitions in adopting leading administrative practices.
Arif Amiri added, "We believe that working closely with GDRFA Dubai will help facilitate processes for investors and clients and further strengthen Dubai’s standing as a global business destination." This partnership reaffirms DIFC’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with government entities for efficient service systems.
The collaboration aims to develop joint projects, launch knowledge initiatives, and provide proactive services to DIFC clients. It also focuses on coordinating legal, technical, and administrative matters between both parties.

The agreement will last two years, with options for renewal. Both parties are committed to continuous coordination and information exchange within approved legal frameworks to achieve partnership goals and enhance institutional integration.
This collaboration will support members of the DIFC Family Wealth Centre, including high-net-worth individuals and family businesses. It aims to provide necessary services that enable their growth and development.
