GCAA And AMMROC Collaborate On Strategic MoU To Enhance Aviation Training And Capability Development

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and AMMROC have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation in aviation training and skills development. This partnership aims to enhance human capital and align with global best practices, supporting the UAE's vision for an innovative aviation sector.

AMMROC will prioritise International Aviation Consulting & Training (IACT) as its main training provider. This ensures that engineering and technical teams receive specialised training tailored to industry needs. The MoU sets a framework for creating customised programmes that meet operational requirements while incorporating global best practices in maintenance and safety.

GCAA and AMMROC Sign MoU for Aviation Training

The agreement was signed by Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, Director-General of GCAA, and Jasem Al Marzooqi, CEO of AMMROC, at IDEX2025. Al Suwaidi stated, "This strategic collaboration between GCAA and AMMROC marks a significant step in advancing aviation training and capability development in the UAE."

Jasem Al Marzooqi emphasised the partnership's importance, saying, "At AMMROC, we recognise that the future of aviation excellence depends on continuous skills development and access to world-class training." He highlighted the commitment to building a capable workforce ready to meet evolving industry demands.

This collaboration also aims to enhance hands-on training capabilities. Both parties will work together to engage top-tier providers for access to state-of-the-art facilities and expertise. They will explore new opportunities for innovation in aviation training by leveraging emerging technologies.

Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi further commented on the partnership's impact: "By leveraging the expertise of International Aviation Consulting & Training (IACT), we are ensuring that AMMROC’s workforce receives world-class training aligned with global best practices and regulatory standards."
