In a significant diplomatic gathering, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah represented Saudi Arabia at the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The meeting, which took place at the GCC's headquarters in Riyadh, was under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.
