GAMI at Saudi Maritime Forum on Security

This forum aims to discuss significant developments and challenges concerning regional and global maritime security. It also highlights the latest technologies, equipment, and systems in the maritime sector. GAMI's participation as a diamond sponsor underscores its commitment to empowering local manufacturing within this industry.

Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Hammad, GAMI's Deputy Governor for Strategic Planning and Execution, inaugurated GAMI's pavilion at the exhibition accompanying the forum. He represented GAMI Governor Eng. Ahmad Abdulaziz Al-Ohali during this event.

GAMI showcases its achievements in maritime industries at its pavilion. These include local manufacturing and maintenance of military ships and boats, developing capabilities for hull construction, and system integration. Such initiatives are part of GAMI's broader efforts to advance the Kingdom's maritime sector.

The authority is focused on legislation, policies, systems, and regulations that promote independence in this vital domain. By facilitating local manufacturing and maintenance of military vessels, GAMI supports technology transfer in related fields.

Economic Contributions

GAMI is dedicated to developing supply chains while integrating primary and secondary systems. It aims to qualify national personnel, create local jobs, and boost export potential. This sector plays a crucial role in strengthening the national economy by enhancing maritime industrial capabilities.

The localisation process is further supported by GAMI’s efforts to develop supply chains and integrate various systems. This contributes significantly to creating employment opportunities locally while enhancing export potential.

GAMI remains committed to advancing Saudi Arabia's maritime sector as a strategic component of its military industries through comprehensive legislative frameworks designed to foster sovereignty.
