GAMI Organises Saudi Pavilion Participation At IDEX 2025 To Showcase Military Innovations
The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) is coordinating Saudi Arabia's participation in the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025). This event will take place from February 17 to 21 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center. Various government bodies, authorities, and major Saudi companies involved in military industries will be part of this significant gathering.
Saudi Arabia's involvement in IDEX 2025 highlights the Kingdom's commitment to advancing its military and security sectors. The leadership's support aims to boost strategic independence and develop national capabilities within these fields. The initiative aligns with the Kingdom's vision to localize over half of its military equipment and services spending by 2030.

This ambitious goal aims to significantly contribute to the Saudi economy through technology transfer, supporting local investors, creating job opportunities, and maximizing economic contributions. GAMI's efforts in policy-making, legislation, and setting national priorities will be showcased at the Saudi pavilion during the exhibition.
The pavilion will also feature advanced technologies and defense systems, demonstrating progress in Saudi Arabia's military industries sector. It will present various military products to highlight the capabilities of defense industries and illustrate investors' journeys within a supportive investment environment.
Alongside GAMI, several other entities will participate in the Saudi pavilion. These include the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), World Defense Show (WDS), Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS), Middle East Propulsion Company (MEPC), Saudi Chemical Company Holding (SCCH), AlKhorayef Group, Life Shield Military Industries, Emaan International, Qudra Industrial Company, and Saudi Company for Aircraft Maintenance and Preparation (GDC).
GAMI collaborates closely with partners from government entities to empower national companies and international firms operating in military industries. This collaboration aims to localize manufacturing capabilities domestically, positioning the sector as a key contributor to national economic prosperity.
Strengthening Global Partnerships
The initiative seeks to open new avenues for cooperation in military and defense industries while strengthening strategic partnerships. It supports Saudi Arabia's defense and security independence while showcasing achievements in this vital sector on an international stage.
The presence of these organizations underscores Saudi Arabia's role as a strategic partner globally. The exhibition provides an opportunity to highlight promising opportunities available within the sector, reinforcing its position as a leader in defense innovation.
This participation reflects GAMI's integrated approach with its partners to enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities. By doing so, it prepares the sector for substantial contributions to national economic growth while supporting technological advancements within military industries.
