GAMI And Human Resources Development Fund Enhance Support For Military Sector Employment Opportunities

The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) has partnered with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) to support private sector firms in the military industries. This initiative aims to empower national talent and create sustainable jobs, aligning with the Kingdom's Military Industries Human Capital Strategy.

Under this partnership, companies in the military sector can receive up to 50% of an employee's salary, capped at SAR3,000. This financial aid helps these businesses attract and retain Saudi talent, promoting employment stability within the industry.

The "Employment Support" product offers direct financial assistance to enterprises. It encourages them to hire Saudis in a sector that is expanding rapidly. This effort aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goal of localising more than half of government spending on military equipment and services.

Private sector companies in the military industries wishing to access this support can do so by logging into HRDF's electronic services via their business account. They need to select the "Employment Support" product from the available programs list.

This initiative is part of a comprehensive program system implemented by GAMI alongside its partners. The focus is on empowering national human resources and boosting local content in military industries, contributing significantly to achieving the Kingdom’s ambitious localisation goals by 2030.

By fostering such partnerships and initiatives, GAMI aims to strengthen the local workforce in military sectors. This approach not only supports economic growth but also ensures that national capabilities are enhanced in line with strategic objectives.
