GAMI Coordinates Saudi Pavilion’s Participation In China International Aviation Exhibition To Showcase Military Advancements
The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) is spearheading Saudi Arabia's participation in the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition. This event, one of the largest in global aviation, will occur from November 12 to 17 in Zhuhai, China. The Saudi pavilion will feature various government entities and national companies specializing in military industries, showcasing the latest technological advancements and equipment.
Saudi Arabia aims to enhance its international standing in military industries through such global events. The participation underscores the Kingdom's commitment to becoming a leading economy among G20 nations. It also seeks to foster international partnerships that empower and develop the military industries sector. This aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's objectives for the military sector.

The Saudi pavilion will display a range of military products, especially in aviation. It highlights efforts to boost national manufacturing capabilities and localize over half of government spending on military equipment by 2030. The pavilion also aims to introduce the potential of Saudi defense industries and promote an investor-friendly environment with promising opportunities.
GAMI collaborates with beneficiary and supportive government entities to enable national companies and major international firms in the military sector. This collaboration focuses on localizing manufacturing capabilities, aiming for significant contributions to Saudi Arabia's economic prosperity and defense independence.
Several government entities are joining GAMI at the exhibition, including the Ministry of Investment and the General Authority for Defense Development. Public companies like the National Company for Mechanical Systems, WAKEB Company for Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems, Milestone Aviation Services, and Homat Al Watan Company are also participating.
GAMI works closely with public and private partners to support national economic growth through favorable policies for investors in military industries. "Investment in this sector is now more straightforward than ever, owing to the market size, its positive impact on other sectors, and its competitive advantages," stated a release from GAMI.
The exhibition provides a platform for Saudi Arabia to showcase its advancements in military technology while attracting global investors. By highlighting its strategic goals under Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia aims to position itself as a key player in the global defense industry landscape.
