GACA To Host Virtual Session On Youth Empowerment In Civil Aviation At UN Future Summit

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) is organising a virtual session titled "Youth Empowerment & Development in Civil Aviation." This event is part of the preparations for the United Nations Future Summit. Scheduled from 3 to 5 PM, GACA collaborates with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for this initiative.

This session marks GACA's first involvement in a UN-affiliated event, focusing on engaging youth in civil aviation. The primary aim is to tackle significant human resource challenges within the aviation industry. It also seeks to foster international cooperation and explore career development opportunities for future generations.

Participants will include representatives from academic, industrial, governmental, and international organisations alongside young professionals in aviation. They will share experiences and discuss best practices, innovative ideas, and solutions to ensure sustainable growth in the industry. This collaborative effort aims to develop a globally competitive workforce.

The virtual session will serve as a platform to launch new initiatives aimed at creating a future-ready workforce in aviation. GACA's involvement aims to highlight its programs and initiatives that create job opportunities in air transport while empowering Saudi youth.
