G42 And IGenius Collaborate To Launch Europe’s Largest AI Compute Cluster For Enhanced Innovation

G42, an AI technology leader from Abu Dhabi, has announced a strategic partnership with iGenius. This collaboration aims to establish the largest AI compute deployment in Europe. The partnership aligns with the UAE and Italy's vision for innovation and economic growth through advanced technology. It was unveiled at the 3rd Edition of Investopia Europe, attended by key officials from both nations.

The agreement between G42 and iGenius highlights their shared goal of integrating AI into essential value chains. This move is expected to enhance regional resilience and promote sustainable growth. Core42, a subsidiary of G42, will play a crucial role in this AI infrastructure partnership, positioning itself as a trusted enabler of global digital transformation.

At the core of this partnership is the deployment of a high-performance GPU cluster powered by thousands of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. This milestone aims to enable sovereign AI infrastructure for Europe. Core42 will manage the pan-European AI rollout, specialising in sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure, and digital services.

iGenius is transforming the digital landscape with its first data centre, Colosseum. This centre boasts over 100 Exaflops of compute power tailored for sovereign AI workloads. The initial setup serves as a blueprint for sovereign AI factories designed for high-security use cases demanding reliability and accuracy.

The compute cluster will accelerate AI training, inferencing, and application development across key European sectors like financial services, manufacturing, and public institutions. It is designed to meet Europe's growing need for secure and scalable infrastructure aligned with digital sovereignty goals.

Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE's Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia, remarked on the significance of this collaboration. "The signing between G42 and iGenius is a testament to the strong economic cooperation between the UAE and Italy," he stated. He emphasised their commitment to partnerships in new economic sectors driving global transformation.

Kiril Evtimov from G42 highlighted the importance of this partnership in enhancing Europe's AI economy. By merging Core42’s expertise with Italy’s innovative leadership, they aim to support future AI innovations in Europe. This reflects both commercial promise and strategic trust between the UAE and Italy.
