Future Of AI In Government Services Accelerator Invites Innovators To Enhance Dubai's Public Services

Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) is inviting applications for the second round of its "Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator" programme. This initiative encourages both local and international tech innovators to collaborate with government bodies in Dubai. The aim is to develop AI-driven solutions that enhance public services, aligning with Dubai's vision to be a global leader in AI innovation.

The programme, launched by DCAI in partnership with Dubai Future Accelerators, seeks innovative ideas to address current and future challenges in government services. It supports the ‘Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence’, aiming to make Dubai a hub for AI-driven advancements across key sectors. Participants will work with over 20 government entities, focusing on four main areas: improving service personalisation and efficiency, creating new services, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring accessibility.

Participants will gain valuable opportunities by working directly with experts to tackle real-world challenges. They will have access to senior decision-makers, allowing them to implement their solutions on a large scale. Importantly, the programme requires no equity stake, so participants retain full ownership of their innovations. Additionally, it offers fully sponsored accommodation and travel for eight weeks in Dubai.

Programme Timeline and Opportunities

Registration is open until 28 August 2025. Selected companies will participate in an intensive eight-week programme from 6 October to 28 November 2025. During this time, they will work closely with government teams on-site in Dubai. This setup allows participants to focus entirely on developing and deploying their projects without distractions.

Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of DCAI, highlighted that the initiative was launched under the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He stated that the programme aims to position Dubai among the top cities globally for delivering agile AI-powered public services defined by speed, quality, and efficiency.

"The Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator" programme is designed to spark innovative uses of AI," said Al Falasi. "Our goal is to create seamless, intelligent experiences that save time and effort while enhancing quality of life."

The first cycle attracted significant global interest with participation from 615 AI companies across 55 countries. A total of 183 AI use cases were defined, with 75 being piloted. This underscores Dubai’s leadership in transforming government services through AI and its commitment to community well-being.

Dubai continues its journey towards becoming a leading city for deploying AI technologies across all sectors. The accelerator programme plays a crucial role in shaping future transformations by fostering collaboration between tech innovators and government entities.
