Transport Minister Set To Open Future Aviation Forum 2024 In Riyadh Tomorrow

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, will inaugurate the Future Aviation Forum 2024 in Riyadh tomorrow. The event, organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), will run from May 20 to 22.

The forum will host over 5,000 leaders and experts from the global civil aviation industry, representing more than 120 countries and organizations. Attendees include over 30 ministers and 65 heads of civil aviation authorities, along with airline and airport presidents, CEOs of aircraft manufacturing companies, and major global investors.

This year's forum is themed "Enhancing the Level of Global Connectivity" and will feature an intensive three-day program. Industry experts will discuss solutions to address priority challenges in the global aviation sector. A significant focus will be on reviewing investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia's aviation sector, which amount to $100 billion.

The forum aims to enhance aviation development globally by facilitating discussions on growth and investment, airports and air connectivity, supply chain management and resilience, cargo and logistics, air traffic management, technology, digital transformation, security, human capital, and sustainability.

It is anticipated that more than 70 agreements and deals worth a total of $12 billion will be signed during the forum. Additionally, several agreements with major global companies are expected to be announced. These agreements aim to bolster investment in the aviation sector both within Saudi Arabia and globally.

The forum will feature 120 speakers who will share their expertise during public discussions and panel sessions. Topics will cover a wide range of issues facing today's global aviation sector. The event represents a platform for bringing together aviation leaders to reshape the sector's future.
