Funding Exceeds AED 9 Billion For Start-Ups In Dubai’s Leading Incubator In5

Dubai's in5 entrepreneurship incubator has surpassed AED9 billion in funding since its start. This milestone was highlighted at the 10th anniversary of Expand North Star 2025, a major event for start-ups and investors held from 12-15 October in Dubai Harbour. The funding represents a 14% increase over the previous year, showcasing in5's role in fostering entrepreneurship.

Majed Al Suwaidi, Senior Vice President at TECOM Group PJSC, commented on this achievement: "The remarkable journey of in5’s start-ups past the AED9 billion funding mark indicates their profound impact on the innovation economy. Since its establishment by TECOM Group PJSC in 2013, in5 has supported over 1,100 start-ups. The incubator focuses on four key sectors: technology, media, design, and science. In5 Tech is located at Dubai Internet City. In5 Media and In5 Design operate from Dubai Production City and Dubai Design District (d3), respectively.

In collaboration with Dubai Science Park, in5 Science offers a platform for science-focused start-ups. This sector-specific approach helps tailor support to meet the unique needs of each industry. By providing dedicated spaces and resources, in5 ensures that each vertical receives targeted assistance.

During Expand North Star 2025, in5 highlighted several innovative members of its ecosystem. Bellboy is an AI-driven SaaS platform that automates hospitality services to improve user experiences. Gainz connects retail investors and institutions with vetted debt financing opportunities.

Another showcased company was MyGatePass, which is revolutionising visitor management through seamless integration with UAE Pass. These examples demonstrate how in5 supports diverse ventures that contribute to various industries' growth.
