Fujairah's Leader Engages With Egypt's Petroleum Minister On Energy Cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, commended the strong historical ties between the UAE and Egypt. He highlighted that these relations are evolving positively across various sectors, benefiting both nations. This statement was made during his meeting with Karim Badawi, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Mahmoud Abdel Shafi, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and Waleed Lotfy, Chairman and Managing Director of PETROJET at Al Rumaila Palace in Fujairah.

The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources lauded the UAE's leading role in advancing the energy sector. He also praised Fujairah's significant contribution to global oil trade and storage due to its advanced infrastructure and technology. This recognition followed his tour of several economic projects in the emirate, including visits to Port of Fujairah, Fujairah Oil Industry Zone, Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation, and Brooge Energy.
