The forum’s Higher Organising Committee outlined preparations during a press conference at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fujairah City. The briefing was attended by Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Court, alongside other officials, media professionals and forum organisers representing diverse news and content platforms.
At the conference, Al Dhanhani described how Fujairah’s media landscape has advanced across all sectors. Al Dhanhani linked this growth to the continuous guidance of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and the sustained backing of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi.
Al Dhanhani noted that the Fujairah Media Forum has become a key outcome of this support, acting as a meeting point for elite Arab media figures. Al Dhanhani said the event allows them to debate urgent issues, with new media challenges now among the most demanding topics.
Al Dhanhani explained that fast technological progress has widened channels for information exchange, while increasing risks. According to Al Dhanhani, truth can appear in many forms, which makes it easier to manipulate or fabricate content using modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence applications.
The Fujairah Media Forum therefore positions itself as a platform for anticipating how media might evolve under these pressures. Through its structured discussions and specialised workshops, the gathering supports knowledge exchange and encourages practical approaches to managing accuracy, trust and innovation within Arab media environments.
