Fujairah Jumping Championship 2024 Launches With Global Participation And AED 700,000 Prize Pool

The Fujairah Jumping Championship is set to occur from 27th to 29th December 2024 at the Fujairah Fort arena. This announcement was made by the Higher Organising Committee of the Fujairah Equestrian Championships, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. The event will feature 170 horses from various countries.

Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, highlighted that this year, the championship has evolved into an international three-star competition. "The championship has evolved into an international three-star competition this year, following its successful debut last year," he stated. This development follows its successful debut last year and is attributed to the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi.

Al Zeyoudi further explained that the championship is now part of a larger series within the Fujairah Equestrian Championships. This series aims to promote equestrian sports and highlight the significance of horses in Arab history. It also seeks to preserve cultural heritage for future generations while maintaining high international standards.

Ali Musabbah Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, mentioned that this year's event has attracted significant global interest. The total prize pool for the competition is AED 700,000, drawing strong participation from stables worldwide. The championship's success continues to grow with participants coming from all over the globe.

Al Zeyoudi emphasized that this support has enabled the championship's success on an international level. He noted that it contributes significantly to showcasing equestrian traditions at their finest.
