Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship Set To Begin On November 27, Celebrating Ten Years Of Equestrian Excellence

The Fujairah International Arabian Horse Championship is set to celebrate its 10th edition from 27th to 29th November 2025. This event, held at the Fujairah Fort Arena, is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. It highlights the emirate's growing reputation as a centre for equestrian sports both regionally and internationally.

At a press conference at the Fujairah Fort Arena, the Higher Organising Committee confirmed that all preparations are complete. This year's championship will see over 264 participants from both the UAE and abroad. Competitors will showcase the grace and beauty of purebred Arabian horses in various events.

Fujairah Arabian Horse Championship Starts November 27

Ali Musabah Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, noted that this edition will feature strong international participation. He also mentioned that the competitive standards are increasingly high this year.

Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah and Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, highlighted the championship's success over ten years. He attributed this success to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi's ongoing support. Dr. Al Zeyoudi described it as a significant event on the equestrian calendar, blending technical skill with competitive value.

This year's championship will present several prestigious awards. These include the Golden Sword Award and the Fujairah Silver Khanjar Award for top-performing private UAE stables. Additionally, there are awards supporting national stables like the Fujairah Private Stables Award.

The Shabwa (Breeding Dose) awards will be given to local stables excelling in breeding, featuring stallion D Shahhar for best local stable and Fa El Rasheem for best local mare, courtesy of Dubai Arabian Horse Stud.

Showcasing Arabian Horses

Mohammed Ahmed Al Harbi, Director-General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society, emphasised that this championship provides an essential platform to display Arabian horses' beauty and movement.

The event marks a decade since its inception as part of the Fujairah Equestrian Championships. It continues to bolster Fujairah’s status as a key player in equestrian sports on both regional and international stages.
