Fujairah International Airport Highlights Smart Innovations At GITEX Global 2025 Event

Fujairah International Airport is showcasing its digital advancements at GITEX Global 2025. The airport is part of the Fujairah Digital Government Pavilion, highlighting innovations that are shaping aviation's future. This participation underscores Fujairah's dedication to digital transformation and its vision for a sustainable, tech-driven infrastructure.

The airport is introducing two key smart aviation projects. The first is the Airport Management System (AMS), which aims to boost operational efficiency through automation and real-time coordination. This system enhances safety, accuracy, and service quality by providing data-driven insights across departments.

The second project involves using drones to support aviation operations and logistics. These UAVs facilitate faster inspections, improved monitoring, and efficient cargo delivery. This contributes to a more sustainable and responsive airport environment, aligning with global trends in aviation technology.

During the exhibition, Fujairah International Airport signed an agreement with trackiT company. This partnership will implement AI-powered asset tracking technologies within the airport. The goal is to optimise operations, enhance asset visibility, and accelerate digital transformation in line with global aviation trends.

An interactive quiz competition was also organised for visitors in collaboration with the Fujairah Government Finance Department. Winners received round-trip tickets from Fujairah to Mumbai as special prizes, sponsored by Fujairah International Airport.
