Fujairah Crown Prince Reviews Education Reforms

The Crown Prince of Fujairah, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, met Minister of Education Sara bint Yousif Al Amiri at the Amiri Diwan to discuss national education priorities, focusing on system development, student outcomes and national identity.

During the discussions, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi underlined that education must progress in line with the state’s future vision, noting its crucial role in preparing informed generations who can participate effectively in comprehensive development across the UAE.

The meeting examined current developments in the national education system, including performance indicators and the learning environment. Both sides reviewed how Ministry of Education programmes aim to equip future generations with strong knowledge tools and competitive education, supporting the wider advancement of the education sector regionally and globally.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi also highlighted the directives and continuous support of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi for the education sector in Fujairah, especially the provision of necessary resources that help improve system performance and align outcomes with national strategies and long-term sustainable goals.

Attendees discussed the Ministry of Education’s vision for embedding national identity in schools, with a focus on raising generations proud of their heritage and authentic values, while strengthening national belonging across educational environments in a way that supports social cohesion and shared responsibility.
