Fujairah Chamber Explores Strategic Economic Cooperation With Belarus Chamber Of Commerce
The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently explored ways to boost economic and trade relations with the Belarus Chamber of Commerce. The aim is to forge a strategic business partnership that benefits both business communities. This initiative was discussed in a meeting between Sheikh Saeed bin Srour Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Chamber's Board of Directors, and Aliaksei Zhaldybin, Consul General of Belarus in Dubai.
Sheikh Saeed Al Sharqi reiterated the Fujairah Chamber's dedication to fostering economic ties between Fujairah and Belarus. He highlighted the potential for investment partnerships between their business communities. Sultan Al Hindasi, Director General of Fujairah Chamber, emphasised Fujairah's investment opportunities, particularly in oil storage, ship fuelling, logistics services, industry, and tourism.

Al Hindasi noted that the Chamber can offer facilities to Belarusian businessmen keen on entering the Fujairah market. This aligns with its strategic goals to support business growth and create an environment conducive to attracting more investments across various sectors. The focus is on industrial and commercial development.
Aliaksei Zhaldybin expressed Belarus's interest in strengthening ties with Fujairah's business owners. He mentioned plans to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further solidify these relations. Additionally, he provided insights into Belarus's economic sectors such as industry, agriculture, construction, trade, transport, and information technology.
Both parties agreed on signing the MoU between the Fujairah Chamber and the Belarus Chamber at a future date. This agreement aims to formalise their commitment to enhancing bilateral trade relations and exploring mutual investment opportunities.
The discussions underscore a shared vision for economic collaboration between Fujairah and Belarus. By leveraging each other's strengths, they aim to create beneficial partnerships that drive growth in both regions' business landscapes.
