Formula E 2025: Jeddah E-Prix Kicks Off With Global Competitors This Friday
The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns to Saudi Arabia this Friday, marking its seventh consecutive year in the kingdom. The Jeddah Corniche Circuit will host the third and fourth rounds of Season 11, known as the Jeddah E-Prix 2025, over two days. Twenty-two drivers from 11 global teams are set to compete on the revamped 3-kilometre track.
Among the competitors are Swiss Nico Mueller and British Jake Dennis from Andretti Formula E. They will be joined by German Maximilian Günther and Frenchman Jean-Éric Vergne representing DS Penske. Envision Racing's lineup includes Dutch Robin Frijns and Swiss Sébastien Buemi, while Jaguar TCS Racing features New Zealand's Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy.

Adding to the excitement are German David Beckmann and British Dan Ticktum from Cupra Kiro. The Lola Yamaha ABT Formula E Team brings Barbadian Zane Maloney and Brazilian Lucas Di Grassi into the mix. Fans can also anticipate performances from Dutch Nyck de Vries and Swiss Edoardo Mortara of Mahindra Racing.
Maserati MSG Racing will feature Britain's Jake Hughes alongside Belgium's Stoffel Vandoorne. Meanwhile, NEOM McLaren Formula E team fields British duo Taylor Barnard and Sam Bird. Completing the lineup are British Oliver Rowland and French Norman Nato from Nissan Formula E Team.
The event is organized by the Saudi Automobile & Motorcycle Federation with support from the Ministry of Sport. Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, highlighted that hosting such events reflects Saudi leadership's dedication to sports development.
Rounding out the roster are German Pascal Wehrlein and Portugal's António Félix Da Costa from TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team. This eagerly awaited event promises thrilling races in Saudi Arabia, showcasing top-tier motorsport talent on an international stage.
