Saudi Foreign Minister Engages With Tunisian Counterpart To Strengthen Bilateral Ties And Regional Stability
In Tunis, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Mohamed Ali Nafti, Tunisia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad. They explored the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. The meeting also involved co-chairing the fourth session of the Follow-up and Political Consultation Committee.
The session addressed various regional and international matters. Both ministers discussed mutual interests and developments affecting their regions. They emphasized the need for ongoing collaboration to address prominent challenges. Their discussions aimed at supporting peaceful resolutions while enhancing security and prosperity globally.

A significant outcome of this meeting was the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU). This MoU focused on cooperation in diplomatic training between two institutions: the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute for Diplomatic Studies and Tunisia's Diplomatic Academy.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqr, Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia, representing the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute. Riadh Dridi, Director General of the Diplomatic Academy, signed on behalf of Tunisia. This agreement aims to strengthen diplomatic training ties between both countries.
During the meeting, several notable figures were present. These included Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqr, Waleed Al-Ismail, Director General of the Office of the Foreign Minister, and Ghazi Al-Enezi from the General Department of Arab States.
The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to joint efforts in addressing regional issues. They highlighted the importance of coordinated positions on key topics to foster stability in their regions.
