Forbes Middle East has introduced the Forbes Middle East Youth Council, a strategic initiative aimed at nurturing future leaders in various sectors. Announced by CEO and Editor-in-Chief Khuloud Al Omian during the Forbes Middle East Sustainability Leaders Summit 2025, this council focuses on empowering young talent in sustainability, innovation, entrepreneurship, the digital economy, media, science, and technology.
The Council's primary goal is to enhance leadership skills and knowledge among youth. It supports entrepreneurial ventures and encourages experience sharing to build networks that contribute to a prosperous and diverse future for the region. This initiative also aims to instil a sense of social and environmental responsibility among young people.

Khuloud Al Omian highlighted that the Council embodies the vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. He believed that youth are the true wealth of nations and promoted values like giving, commitment, and community service. The Council serves as a platform for capacity building and leadership enhancement.
Beyond leadership development, the Council encourages youth to create innovative solutions for local and regional challenges. It believes that true empowerment starts with awareness, creativity, and action. This approach aims to foster a culture of responsibility among young individuals.
The Council is designed to support emerging projects by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. It acts as a dynamic platform where young talents can exchange experiences and ideas. This exchange helps drive creative solutions to societal challenges across the region.
Al Omian concluded her remarks by congratulating the launch of the Council. She reaffirmed Forbes Middle East’s dedication to supporting it as a platform for empowerment. The Council connects new generations' aspirations with the region’s broader vision for development and progress.
