Forbes Middle East Medical Tourism And Wellness Summit 2023 To Feature Leading Experts In Dubai
Forbes Middle East is preparing to host the second edition of the Medical Tourism and Wellness Summit on 9–10 December. This event, in partnership with the American Hospital Dubai, will gather experts in medical tourism and wellness, alongside key economic figures, government officials, and innovators from around the world. The summit aims to highlight the region's growing reputation as a global hub for advanced healthcare and innovation in medical tourism.
The summit will be held at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and will explore six main themes. These include the UAE National Strategy for Wellbeing 2031, which aligns with UAE Vision 2031 and UAE Centennial 2071 goals. This strategy has driven progress in income levels, social wellbeing, and public services, reinforcing the UAE’s status as a preferred destination for tourism, healthcare, and investment.

Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, will deliver a keynote address during the opening session. His speech will focus on the sector’s increasing importance and its contributions to both national and regional economies. Mishal Abdul Karim Julfar from Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services will also participate in discussions with other industry leaders.
The programme will examine how the UAE is leading in health and happiness initiatives. It will also discuss its role as a global centre for medical tourism and the development of advanced insurance solutions that improve international healthcare access. Innovations that enhance patient satisfaction globally will be highlighted.
