The FIFA Bid Evaluation Report on November 30 awarded Saudi Arabia's bid an impressive score of 419.8 out of 500. This is the highest technical score ever given by FIFA for a World Cup hosting bid. For instance, Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh was built in 1969 and can now accommodate over 20,000 spectators. It has hosted prestigious events like the King’s Cup and Arabian Gulf Cup Championship.

King Fahd Sports City Stadium stands out with its striking design and capacity for 68,000 seats. Since opening in 1987, it has hosted significant events such as the 1989 FIFA World Youth Cup and multiple editions of the FIFA Confederations Cup.
