Rashid Al Dhaheri Attributes Formula Regional Success To Focus And Experience
Emirati racer Rashid Al Dhaheri attributes his achievements in the Formula Regional Middle East Championship to his dedication, expertise, and experience. Following a podium finish, Al Dhaheri expressed satisfaction with his second-place result at his home circuit. He utilised the Yas Marina 'corkscrew' layout, a variation from the usual GP track, to leverage his local knowledge and racing skills for a podium spot.
Al Dhaheri highlighted the intense competition, noting that small margins separate drivers and cars. "The podium places are being shared between the top drivers," he stated. He emphasised his commitment to pushing hard for more strong finishes and improving his championship standing. "I have a great car and team behind me so we can’t wait for the next round," he added.

In the first race of the second round, Al Dhaheri secured second place and emerged as the leading rookie driver. This achievement mirrored his performance in the first race of the initial round. He also earned points in subsequent races, placing him in the top five of the standings after two rounds and six races.
The third round will occur at Dubai Autodrome in two weeks, featuring three more races. The penultimate round returns to Abu Dhabi on 14th February. The final round is set for Lusail International Circuit in Qatar from 26th to 28th February. Al Dhaheri remains well-positioned at this halfway point in the competition.
