FNC Engages With Parliaments Of Senegal, Netherlands, Belarus, Cyprus, Sweden, And Mercosur At IPU Assembly
Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, who leads the UAE Parliamentary Division of the Federal National Council (FNC) to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), engaged with various parliamentary delegations. These meetings took place during the 151st IPU General Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. The discussions aimed at fostering collaboration between the FNC and other parliaments.
The meetings involved representatives from Senegal, the Netherlands, Belarus, Cyprus, Sweden, and Mercosur. Dr. Al Nuaimi met with Malick Ndiaye from Senegal's National Assembly and Sergei Aleinik from Belarus's National Assembly. He also spoke with Averof Neophytou from Cyprus, F. Belhirch from the Dutch Parliament, Margareta Cederfelt from Sweden, and Juan José from Mercosur.
The focus of these discussions was on boosting inter-parliamentary cooperation. Emphasis was placed on coordination and consultation regarding shared interests.
