Flydubai Expands Seasonal Summer Network To Include 11 Exciting Destinations
flydubai, based in Dubai, will launch its seasonal flights to 11 cities this summer, starting from 4th June. This includes new routes to Al Alamein and Antalya. Flights will depart daily from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB) to Antalya International Airport (AYT) beginning on 5th June and to Al Alamein International Airport (DBB) starting on 21st June.
The airline's summer schedule will begin earlier this year to accommodate the busy Eid Al Adha travel period. flydubai's expanding network will be served by its young fleet, including the latest Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft introduced in April. Passengers can enjoy convenient travel options to explore the Turkish Riviera and Egypt’s Al Sahel North Coast.

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, stated, "We have seen growth in demand for travel to popular seasonal summer destinations year-on-year. The introduction of more destinations to our summer operations reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers by providing greater convenience, enhanced accessibility and more options for travel."
In addition to the new routes, flydubai offers flights to other popular summer spots like Batumi, Bodrum, Corfu, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Olbia, Santorini, Tivat and Trabzon. These destinations provide travellers with a variety of holiday experiences.
The airline has noted a significant increase in Business Class passengers. In the first quarter of 2025, there was a 20% rise compared to the same period in 2024. This growth is expected to continue over the summer as flydubai enhances its Business Class services with a new check-in area and lounge at Terminal 2.
With the launch of flights to Antalya, flydubai now serves six locations in Türkiye: Ankara (ESB), Bodrum (BJV), Istanbul Airport (IST), Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), Trabzon (TZX), and Antalya. This expansion reflects flydubai's commitment to offering diverse travel options for its customers.
The seasonal routes from June to September complement existing popular routes such as Georgia, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Thailand. The airline remains confident that Al Alamein and Antalya will attract many holidaymakers from Dubai and across its network.
