Flag Day Celebrates Emirati Identity And National Unity, Says RAK Ruler H.H. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, highlighted the significance of Flag Day as a symbol of national pride and unity. He described it as a day that embodies the Emirati identity, supported by the dedication of its people and the sacrifices of its youth. This occasion reflects the aspirations for a future filled with progress and prosperity.

During the Flag Day celebrations on 3rd November at Al Qawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah, H.H. Sheikh Saud raised the UAE flag. He was joined by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, along with other prominent figures including Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi and Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi.

Sheikh Saud emphasised that the nation continues to follow the path set by the Founding Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellow founders. He stated that their legacy laid the foundation for a united and strong nation. The flag symbolises this unity and strength, serving as a source of pride for all Emiratis.

The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah expressed pride in the nation's achievements, which serve as a global model for progress and development. He reiterated commitment to advancing towards a more prosperous future through the efforts of dedicated citizens and promising youth.

Sheikh Saud remarked that the national flag should be present at every gathering, representing Emirati identity and values. It embodies unity and humanitarian principles while enhancing the UAE's status as a beacon of tolerance, coexistence, and peace globally.

On this occasion, he extended congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and other leaders. Best wishes were also conveyed to citizens and residents across the Emirates.
