First UAE–Russia Business Forum Opens In Dubai To Strengthen Economic Ties And Collaboration
The inaugural UAE–Russia Business Forum commenced in Dubai, marking a significant event for both nations' business landscapes. Organised by the Russia–UAE Business Council with support from the Roscongress Foundation and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, this forum aims to become an annual gathering. It unites leaders from major companies, investment funds, relevant ministries, and tech startups from both countries.
Trade between Russia and the UAE has grown significantly in recent years. This growth spans various sectors such as manufacturing, transportation, logistics, agriculture, digital technologies, healthcare, and investment. Both traditional industries and innovative fields are seeing increased collaboration, necessitating new partnership mechanisms.

The forum's main event is a plenary session titled "Architecture of Long-Term Growth: New Opportunities for Both Countries." Alexander Vinokurov, Chairman of the Russia–UAE Business Council, will outline strategies to unlock economic potential. Key participants include Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Anton Alikhanov, Rustam Minnikhanov, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Vitaly Sergeychuk, Alexander Zharov, and Sergey Katyrin.
A session named "Russia–UAE Innovation Track: A New Era of Technological Partnership" will kick off the panel discussions. Participants include Sergey Zakharov from Marathon Investment Group; Khalfan Belhoul of Dubai Future Foundation; Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh from Invest in Sharjah; Nabil Arnous of Innovation City; Dmitry Markov of VisionLabs; Alexey Yuzhakov from Promobot; Vyacheslav Kubaev of Magnit Tech; and Anastasia Stolkova from RK-Medicine Foundation.
The forum will also feature a session hosted by Investment Majlis called Strategic Co-Investment Dialogue. This session aims to enhance dialogue between strategic investors and specialised funds while introducing new project support tools. The focus will be on establishing a Russia–UAE investment platform through highlighted projects and mechanisms.
The business programme will conclude with a panel discussion titled "Russia and the UAE: Shaping the Ecosystem of Trade and Logistics of the Future." Speakers include Sergey Sidorov from PJSC DVMP (FESCO); Ramy Jallad of RAKEZ; Khalid Al Marzooqi from KEZAD; Vladislav Bakhtenko of Grand Trade; Nadeem Sultan from Emirates Airlines; Raj Jit Singh Wallia from DP World; and Vladislav Shik from JSC Akron Holding.
Future Prospects
This final discussion will explore developing bilateral export corridors and logistics routes. It will also cover diversifying trade flows and creating sustainable multimodal solutions. The forum aims to foster meaningful dialogue that supports future cooperation between Russia and the UAE across various sectors.
