First Security Group Donates AED 1 Million To Support Mothers’ Education Fund

In a significant move towards supporting global education, First Security Group has pledged AED1 million to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, spearheaded by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, aims to create a AED 1 billion endowment fund. The fund is dedicated to sustainably supporting the education of millions worldwide, marking a notable commitment to global educational development.

The campaign, under the auspices of MBRGI, seeks to provide sustainable support to underprivileged individuals through education. It also emphasizes the importance of honouring parents and promotes values such as kindness, compassion, and solidarity. First Security Group's contribution underscores its dedication to charitable efforts globally and acknowledges the pivotal role mothers play in nurturing families and fostering educational growth among their children.

AED 1M Donation to Education Fund

Major General (Retd.) Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Bannai, CEO and Board Member of First Security Group, expressed pride in joining this noble initiative. He highlighted the campaign's alignment with international efforts aimed at providing sustainable education in vulnerable communities across the globe. "The Mothers’ Endowment launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is an inspiring initiative that supports international efforts to provide sustainable education in vulnerable communities around the world," he stated.

The Mothers’ Endowment campaign not only aims to support underprivileged individuals but also seeks to revive the culture of endowments as a developmental tool. This approach ensures sustainable charity work and supports the global endeavor to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The campaign continues to welcome donations from both institutions and individuals through various channels. Contributions can be made through the campaign’s website (Mothersfund.ae), a dedicated call center via toll-free number (800 9999), and bank transfers in UAE dirham to Emirates Islamic Bank (AE790340003708472909201). Additionally, donations via SMS for Etisalat by e& users can be made by sending the word "Mother" to numbers 1034, 1035, 1036, or 1038. The DubaiNow app and Dubai’s community contributions platform Jood (Jood.ae) also offer platforms for making donations.

This collective effort underscores a shared commitment towards fostering educational opportunities for underprivileged communities globally.
