First Russia-Emirates Business Forum Set To Unite Economic Leaders For Enhanced Cooperation

The inaugural Russia-Emirates Business Forum is set to take place in Dubai on December 10, 2025. Organised by the Russian-Emirati Business Council (REBC) with support from Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry, the Roscongress Foundation, and the Marathon Investment Group, this forum aims to become a key annual event for Russia and the UAE.

Scheduled alongside the 12th meeting of the Russia-UAE Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, the forum will focus on strengthening strategic partnerships. The commission's co-chairs, UAE Economy and Tourism Minister Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri and Russian Industry and Trade Minister Anton Alikhanov, are expected to attend.

The event will feature representatives from leading companies in both countries, including investment funds, tech startups, and logistics operators. Industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, agro-industrial sectors, consumer goods manufacturing, retail, HoReCa, IT, and high-tech manufacturing will be highlighted during discussions.

A plenary session titled "A Future in Balance: Opportunities for Both Countries" will kick off the forum. Discussions will cover economic cooperation prospects between Russia and the UAE as well as REBC's strategy. Topical sessions will explore investment cooperation mechanisms and new trade tools between Russia and MENA.

The "Investment Opportunities" session will delve into projects for creating a Russia-UAE investment platform. Meanwhile, the "Russia-UAE Industrial Innovation Track" will officially launch an acceleration program for Russian tech companies in the UAE. This track aims to facilitate technology exchange between both nations.

The business program concludes with a session on "Export Corridors and Logistics Hubs." This session focuses on developing trade routes and diversifying trade flows between Russia and MENA countries through sustainable multimodal solutions.

Strengthening Economic Ties

Alexander Vinokurov, Chairman of REBC, stated: "Business cooperation between Russia and the UAE is reaching a qualitatively new level. We are seeing a significant increase in business interest from both countries in joint projects." He emphasised that systemic infrastructure is needed to transform potential into concrete deals.

Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of Russia, remarked: "Cooperation between Russia and the UAE is developing at a steady pace: trade is booming." He noted that this first-ever forum marks an important step in strengthening economic partnerships by opening new avenues for interaction.
