First International Floating Franchise Expo In Jeddah Showcases Global Investment Opportunities

The First International Floating Franchise Exhibition wrapped up on Wednesday, attracting investors and entrepreneurs from Saudi Arabia and over 24 other countries. Held aboard the AROYA ship in Jeddah, the event combined tourism with investment opportunities, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030. The expo highlighted the potential for growth and collaboration in the franchise sector.

During the event, Khalid Al-Ghamdi, chairman of the National Franchise Committee, introduced an interactive online platform. This platform aims to connect brands with international investors by offering qualification, marketing, and technical support services. Additionally, a national company was established to unite Saudi brands for collective expansion into foreign markets through strategic partnerships.

Floating Franchise Expo in Jeddah Concludes Successfully

The exhibition saw participation from global organizations specializing in franchises and representatives from investment sectors worldwide. Countries like the United Kingdom, Russia, Croatia, China, Korea, and South Africa were represented. Workshops provided insights into market trends and franchise opportunities in these nations.

Experts and speakers from participating countries shared their experiences over three days. They discussed global franchising challenges and trends while exploring opportunities for expansion and cooperation in international markets. These discussions aimed to inspire participants to consider new avenues for growth.

Prominent Saudi brands showcased their ambitions for regional and global expansion at the expo. Through their pavilions, they presented successful models and local experiences that strive for international recognition with confidence and professionalism. This display underscored Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering its brands on a global stage.

On the sidelines of the expo, several cooperation agreements were signed by the National Franchise Committee. These agreements involved entities like Monsha’at (the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority), the Social Development Bank, and the Restaurant and Cafe Owners Association. Such collaborations aim to bolster support for franchise development within Saudi Arabia.

Interactive Platform Launch

The newly launched online platform is expected to play a crucial role in connecting Saudi brands with international investors. By providing essential services such as qualification support, marketing assistance, and technical guidance, it aims to facilitate smoother entry into foreign markets for Saudi businesses.

The establishment of a national company dedicated to uniting Saudi brands marks a significant step towards collective expansion abroad. This initiative seeks to create strategic partnerships that integrate supply chains and services across borders.

The conclusion of this unique exhibition signifies a promising future for franchising in Saudi Arabia. By blending tourism with investment opportunities on an innovative platform like AROYA ship, it reflects the ambitious goals set forth by Saudi Vision 2030.
