Fifth Saudi International Marine Exhibition Opens In Riyadh, Showcasing Global Fisheries Tech And Investment

The fifth Saudi International Marine Exhibition is set to begin on Monday in Riyadh. The three-day event at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center will gather global fisheries and aquaculture stakeholders, highlighting sector growth, technology developments, and Saudi Arabia’s increasing role in specialised marine events.

Organisers expect strong participation, with attendees from more than 30 countries taking part. Over 120 local and international companies and organisations are scheduled to exhibit, while forecasts indicate around 15,000 visitors and 3,950 business leaders, including representation from 15 government entities.

The Saudi International Marine Exhibition SIMEC will host five international pavilions, reflecting rising interest in the Kingdom’s fisheries sector. The Saudi International Marine Exhibition SIMEC is being held under the patronage of Vice Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Mansour Al-Mushaiti. Displays will cover aquaculture systems, capture fisheries, feed production, algae cultivation, seafood processing technologies, shipbuilding, and port services, offering visitors a detailed view of current tools and methods in these areas.

The event is expected to see the signing of 15 cooperation agreements, supporting new projects and joint ventures between Saudi and international investors across various marine and fisheries activities.
