The Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF) Annual Meeting, under the patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is set to take place on October 1-2 in Riyadh. The event will focus on 'Scaling Cohesive Advancement in Cyberspace.' This gathering aims to foster collaboration among global leaders and experts to address key challenges and opportunities in cyberspace.
This year's forum will explore five sub-themes: Beyond the Inflection Point, Cyber Economics Redefined, Strengthening Cyber Inclusion, Behavioural Lens in Cyberspace, and Opportunities at the Cyber Horizon. The goal is to advance discussions on building a reliable cyberspace that ensures individual security and national stability. Participants will engage in action-oriented collaboration to address shared priorities within the rapidly evolving global landscape.
The forum aims to strengthen collective action for a human-centered and inclusive cyberspace. By leveraging behavioural insights, it seeks to influence actions positively, counter manipulations, and create safe cyber environments. Additionally, technological advancements will be harnessed to tackle fast-evolving challenges in cyberspace.
Building Economic Cohesion
One of the key objectives is advancing cyber economic cohesion to enable scalable growth and shared prosperity. This involves fostering alignment among stakeholders to navigate the complexities of the digital world effectively. The forum will explore strategies for achieving these goals while ensuring that cyberspace remains secure and reliable for all users.
The GCF's mission includes accelerating progress towards its objectives by pushing knowledge boundaries and promoting collaborative action globally. Through these efforts, the organization aims to contribute significantly to creating a safer digital environment that benefits society as a whole.
