UAE Breaks Record by Constructing FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Stadium in 25 Days
In a display of remarkable efficiency, the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup UAE 2024 Dubai has seen the construction of its stadium in the Dubai Design District completed in an unprecedented 25 days. This achievement not only breaks previous records for such constructions but also marks Dubai's second hosting of the event, scheduled from February 15 to 25, with 16 teams competing across four groups.
The newly constructed beach soccer stadium distinguishes itself with a pristine sand arena, measuring at least 40 cm in depth and covering an area of 36 meters by 27 meters. In a departure from traditional beachfront locations, this stadium is uniquely situated in an urban setting beside the city's water canal, offering a vibrant backdrop that redefines the beach soccer experience.

Equipped with advanced lighting and a colossal video screen, the stadium ensures that fans do not miss any action, providing comfort and convenience from the VIP area to the media centre. This development not only elevates the standard for beach soccer venues but also reinforces the UAE's reputation as a premier destination for international sports events.
Jaime Yarza González, Director of FIFA Tournaments (FIFA), praised the new stadium as the best in the tournament's history, highlighting its construction quality, facilities, and the swift timeframe of its erection. The organising committee's dedication to ensuring readiness was also commended by González.
The UAE's distinction as one of only two countries, alongside Brazil, to host the World Cup more than once underscores its commitment to excellence in sports hosting. The rapid construction of the stadium, achieved in just 25 days despite traditional timelines ranging between 60 and 90 days, showcases innovative engineering and high-quality materials.
Despite recent heavy rains, the pitch remained unaffected due to a special sand type known for its superior water absorption qualities. This ensures uninterrupted matches and a positive experience for fans attending the event. The stadium boasts a capacity of 3,900 spectators, with structured entrances and exits to facilitate smooth access.
Ticket pricing for the World Cup matches is designed to be accessible, ranging from AED20 per day session during early rounds to AED30 for semi-finals and AED40 for the final day. Each ticket grants access to two matches within either the afternoon or evening sessions, accommodating up to 3,900 spectators per session.
