FESPA's Profit For Purpose Programme Reinvests US$9 Million In Global Printing Industry Since 2015

FESPA Middle East is gearing up for its second edition from 20th to 22nd January at the Dubai Exhibition Centre. This event is part of a global network supporting the digital printing, textile, and screen-printing community. FESPA, a non-profit organisation, has reinvested US$9 million into the printing industry worldwide since 2015 through its Profit for Purpose programme.

The Profit for Purpose initiative aims to channel revenue from FESPA events into supporting sustainable growth in the global speciality print community. It helps develop print businesses by offering market insights and facilitating networking opportunities. This approach sets FESPA apart from other trade exhibition organisers.

FESPA Reinvests US$9 Million in Printing

Bazil Cassim, Regional Manager (Middle East and Africa) at FESPA, stated, "As a not-for-profit organisation, FESPA has a unique focus, driven by a mission to promote growth and knowledge-sharing in the printing sector and provide ongoing support to the industry worldwide. FESPA Middle East is an important addition to our global portfolio and highlights our commitment to promoting the region’s thriving print sector, making us very different from other trade exhibition organisers."

The upcoming event will feature live competitions, learning opportunities, and business-building sessions. Attendees can participate in FLEx (FESPA Leadership Exchange) on the exhibition floor. This includes conferences with international speakers covering topics like Business Building, Personalisation, New Technology/Future Vision, Brand Perspective, and Sustainability in Print.

One of the highlights of FESPA Middle East is the World Wrap Masters – Middle East competition. This global series allows wrap installers to showcase their skills and techniques. Additionally, Wrap Demos will be conducted in partnership with The Wrap Institute. These demos offer valuable tips on maximising profits for professionals in vinyl wrapping.

The Sustainability Spotlight stand will return this year. It provides attendees with a showcase of over 100 sustainable print material samples along with data sheets for sourcing ideas on reducing waste and optimising resource use.

Diverse Sectors on Display

FESPA Middle East features sectors such as digital printing, textiles, signage (including digital signage), and screen printing. The inaugural edition saw participation from over 150 brands and exhibitors. More than 3,000 visitors explored thousands of products on display during that event.

This year's event promises to build upon its previous success by offering even more engaging content and opportunities for attendees. By focusing on sustainability and innovation within the printing industry, FESPA Middle East continues to support growth in this dynamic sector.
